"I had Valerie come to carry out Reiki on my horse, Lena, who had been showing signs of anxiety, separation anxiety, and general excitability after moving to a new yard. She wasn’t settling well and was particularly unsettled in her stable, often pacing restlessly.

During the first session, Lena seemed quite aloof and still unsettled, but by the second session, there was a noticeable difference in her behaviour. She appeared much more relaxed and had clearly begun to settle, especially with Valerie. I also noticed a significant improvement when she was turned out in the field. She was calmer and didn’t panic as much when her companions were separated from her, which had previously triggered stress.

I’m not entirely sure how Reiki works, but I can say it’s made a real difference in how Lena handles and carries herself. Valerie was incredibly patient, especially during the first session when Lena wouldn’t settle or stand still. Thank you, Valerie."
